What You Will Do:


As a member of the Americas Merchandising Team, the Merchandise Planner will be the driver of improvement in our data capabilities, sales reporting & analytics, and understanding marketplace capacity and alignment of multiple cross functional processes. They will support the Merchandising function to achieve the brand’s strategic, financial and distribution goals.


Areas of Responsibility:


Financials/Reporting:


  • Partner with Sales Operations on sell thru reporting & analysis to incorporate learnings in future season assortment planning
  • Manage sell in data, reporting, & analysis for each region & channel in the Americas
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis in support of the Merchandising team


Product:


  • Assist Merchandising Team in developing analytical framework to inform strategic assortment strategies
  • Assist in creating seasonal style, SKU, and revenue targets by category & class that align with financial and brand strategies
  • Report on SKU count and conduct SKU rationalization exercises
  • Manage quantitative assortment planning tools throughout the go-to-market process
  • Analyze margin for sell thru, sell in, and forecasts to assist Merchandising team in setting pricing


Operations:


  • Identify risks & opportunities in forecasts, and take corrective actions
  • Manage Line List/Enovia/Flex regional data attribution
  • Partner with Demand Planning, ensuring forecasts are connected to strategic focuses
  • Connect with Sales to ensure proper product segmentation is reflected in sales tools


What You Need to Succeed?

  • Educational/Position Requirements: Financial, Statistical or Business Bachelor’s degree
  • Collaborative attitude and good communication skills
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to identify business opportunities
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate analysis to broad audience
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines
  • 3-5 years of related professional experience
  • Experience in retail & sales analysis
  • Must be flexible and adaptive to change
  • Power BI or Tableau data management & reporting experience is a plus
  • Professional experience in Merchandise Planning
  • Software Applications: Microsoft Office – very strong Excel required

Pay Range:


$66,528.00 USD - $99,792.00 USD annually


Incentive Potential:


This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
