Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Manager to oversee our product development process and product line review. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the development of new products, managing product lifecycles, conducting margin analysis, maintaining global price lists, and managing the discontinuation of products.


Responsibilities:


  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs and preferences.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Analyze product margins and recommend pricing strategies to maximize profitability.
  • Create and maintain global price lists to ensure consistency and accuracy across all markets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, sales, and operations to ensure the successful launch and ongoing support of products.
  • Manage the discontinuation of products in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Conduct regular product line reviews to evaluate the performance of existing products and identify areas for improvement.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive activity to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Implement the new product development process from ideation to launch.
  • Monitor product performance and conduct post-launch evaluations to assess product success and identify areas for improvement.


Requirements:

  • Experience managing the discontinuation of products.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workload.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct margin analysis and create pricing strategies.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of global markets and pricing strategies.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Knowledge of product development processes and methodologies.
  • Proven experience in product management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field.
