Job Description

The Product Manager will play a pivotal role in defining our product strategy and managingour product and services portfolio. This role will manage every aspect of the product life cycle and drive the execution of each step in the product road map. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing complex product portfolios and have excellent organization, time management, and analytical and communication skills. This role willwork across diverse teams including sales, marketing, and R&D.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

● Develop and execute a continuously evolving product strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's overall business objectives and strategic vision.

● Manage the product portfolio, prioritizing product development and enhancement initiatives based on market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.

● Become the product expert and identify and evaluate potential new products and services along with any applicable regulatory requirements, ensuring they complement or extend our existing offerings, while delivering exceptional value to our customers.

● Maintain complete and detailed documentation and communication for all product-related activities, road maps, and ongoing product tasks and actions.

● Champions product development.

● Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure successful product development, launch, and ongoing management.

● Manages the life cycle of products including pricing, discount schedules, driving efficiency, and cost reduction efforts.

● Monitor and track product performance, adjusting strategies and plans as needed, to achieve desired outcomes.

● Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure successful product development, launch, and ongoing management.

● Gather and analyze customer feedback, market research, and competitor insights to inform product improvements and identify new opportunities.

● Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, includingcustomers, partners, and industry thought leaders.

● Stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends, technologies, and advancements inwomen’s health and maternity to ensure our products remain at the forefront ofinnovation.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:

● Advanced degree in biology, chemistry, or a related life sciences field is required.

● Minimum of 5 years of product management experience, preferably within thewomen’s health and maternity industry or pediatrics, immunology, microbiology,pathology, and phlebotomy fields.

● Proven success in managing complex product portfolios and executing productstrategies.

● Demonstrable experience with developing intellectual property.

● Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

● Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.

● Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and drive results.

● Deep understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapewithin the biobanking and women’s health industries.

● Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects and prioritiesin a fast-paced environment.

● Passion for innovation and improving the lives of people through the advancementof life sciences.

● The ability to commute to or travel routinely to New Jersey / New York City, isrequired.
