In support of our ongoing growth, we are looking for a Product Manager to support our Food & Beverage and CPG Process industries. You will support the Plex Product Management team in defining and executing our Product Vision for these industries. Your primary responsibility will be to help bring new, innovative, and impactful products to our F&B and Process CPG customers. You’ll need to have experience in Manufacturing Execution Systems / ERP and software and be capable of – and comfortable with – engaging with all types and levels of internal and external stakeholders.
Your day might include the following:
  • Supporting the creation and execution of our roadmap and writing specifications for both large and small scale enhancements and helping prioritize those enhancements.
  • Interfacing with our internal teams (Marketing, Product Engineering, Sales, and Global Services and Support) on industry market trends, go-to-market support and strategy and customer needs.
  • Meeting with our customers and prospects to define use cases and scope critical functions to facilitate their continued success.
  • Presenting to the team on project health and status and coordinating discussions and tasks between teams
Essential Functions
  • Authoring clear and cohesive Product Requirements Documents (PRD)
  • Manage/communicate project progress
  • Supporting the adoption of our products by our customers
  • Engage 1:1 w/customers on questions, needs, requirements
  • Lead the creation and release of minor functionality
  • Collaborating and coordinating effective meetings between all stakeholders (Engineering, Product, Customer, Sales, Marketing, Ed Services, Internal ProServ Team, Implementation Partners, etc.)
  • Providing clear and compelling ROI analysis
  • Collecting Product Requirements for major and minor releases
  • Support of prioritization of new product enhancements and features
  • Collaborate and support release of major functionality
  • Support with Sales, Market, and Customer use case research and analysis for the target industries
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Business, or related area.
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required- we will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, not now or in the future, for this job opening.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous MES, QMS, or ERP product management experience is highly desired
  • Ability to clearly and concisely present product value, benefit, proposals, and status to peers and management.
  • 5+ years of Food & Beverage and/or Process CPG industry experience, including product management, implementation, or end user experience with ERP/MES/Quality software, preferably with multiple companies or projects
  • Ability to present to all levels of an organization from peers to C-Suite.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a broader team.
