Job Description
We believe in the transformational power of design. Innovation only happens when we make things simple and fluid, and the User Experience disappears behind the achievements of our customers. That’s where you come in. We’re looking for a Product Designer II, who’s driven by empathy for customers, to help us build the next generation of experiences that will simplify how millions of our customers live and work digitally.
The Office Product Group Design Studio
OPG Design is a global team of talented and thoughtful Designers and Researchers with a passion for the art of product making. Each day, we strive to take some of the most widely recognized products in the world to new heights, crafting beautiful experiences that create connections, make work lighter, are enjoyable to use and leave our users with feelings of accomplishment.  Our goal is to make Office Suite accessible to everyone, no matter how basic or expert their needs or know-how, to help everyone on the planet achieve more.

Our Culture
As important as the work itself is the way we work together. We care deeply about each other's wellbeing and cultivating a culture where everyone feels inspired, empowered, and supported.
We share, collaborate and build on each other’s work to make it better. We re-use rather than reinvent. We celebrate successes, learn from failures and push boundaries constantly because we believe in the magic of bold ideas.
With team members working from home and from offices all around the world, we are committed to helping everyone feel connected and supported, regardless of where they work and live.
The Team And Role
Microsoft 365 is made up of several different types of customer applications and experiences. Specifically, within the Office Product Group, our focus is on daily productivity tools used by millions of customers around the world. As part of the Office Platform Design team, your mission is to help enable both our everyday customers and our developer community to succeed in their use of our products. We are responsible for the platform that allows developers (both first- and third-party) to integrate with and extend Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook across Windows, Mac, Office Online, iOS, and Android. We also partner closely with teams across Microsoft 365 to deliver a cohesive platform story for all Office developers.
In this role, you will work in small, cross-app, interdisciplinary teams to re-imagine customer workflows and enable our rich, 3rd party developer community to create experiences that support and extend our core offerings. You will work as part of a community with diverse styles, voices, and views that reflect the diversity of our customers. You will nurture and evolve our culture. You will design in the open to move fast and build experiences without seams. You will share and contribute to other’s work to make it better.
We’ll provide you with unparalleled levels of opportunity and resources, with the goal of creating experiences that influence the industry, as well as people’s lives. Come create new possibilities with us!
Responsibilities

  • Deliver world-class interaction designs from initial concept through finished product
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Interactive Design, Visual Design, Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related field AND 3+ years experience working in interactive design and/or visual design
