Position Summary

We are seeking a full-time Procurement Specialist (Buyer) to support the Construction & Procurement department, we’re looking for a team player with a strong attention to detail who’s willing to get their hands dirty and try new things each day.

The Procurement Specialist (Buyer) will assist in ensuring all tasks between SHEIN Distribution Corporation and its Suppliers are negotiated, created, and managed effectively and efficiently. Will work closely with the Procurement Manager to acquire the most cost-effective deals.

Procurement Specialists build vendor relationships to secure the best prices on products for the company, as well as these other responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Source and interview vendors; negotiate contracts and costs
• Receive orders and document arrivals
• Analyze market and delivery systems
• Comply to scorecard measurement system to track values
• Purchase supply of products/materials
• Communicate with vendors, clients, customers, team members, and managers to align goals
• Determine the lowest cost for products/materials
• Communicate performances and costs to management
• Analyze supply base
• Recommend new processes or systems for improvement; implement new ideas and strategies
• Organize and schedule procurements in a timely manner
• Supplier management and relationship maintenance
• Prepare requisitions and purchase orders
• Operate equipment and follow all safety procedures
• Track and record orders
• Monitor order expenses

Skills and Qualifications

• Experience in industry procedures, costs, and terms
• Must have exceptional organizational skills
• Bachelor's degree in procurement, business, finance, or related field
• Must have strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and Google sheets/docs
• Experienced at compiling and following strict budgets
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Bilingual in Mandarin and English preferred but not required
• Must be proactive and possess the ability to meet tight deadlines
• 2-5 years of previous experience in procurement or purchasing

Pay: $52,900.00 min - $76,700.00 max annually
