Our client, a leading retail organization, is searching for an IT Procurement Manager who oversees the IT procurement and contract requirements on behalf of Digital and Technology organization. This individual will lead and manage multiple IT Procurement Services sub-categories, including the sourcing, contracting, and negotiating assigned sourcing events..

The Purchasing Manager is responsible for:

• Share best practices across the organization.
• Ensure improvement to cost, quality and service.
• Design and implement strategies to rationalize the supply base and leverage organization’s spend.
• Manages risk mitigation (cost, price and/or supply).
• Coordinates and supports all sourcing related activities including review, negotiation, and acquisition of the targeted spend categories.
• Supplier Management – manage contract, service, and business reviews
• Develop sourcing strategies based on analysis of spend data, supply market dynamics, category intelligence, and most importantly business requirements.

The Purchasing Manager has the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (required)
• Must have 5+ years in procurement.
