Associate Manager, Transportation Jobs

Job Summary:
Shiseido America Inc. is looking for an Associate Manager, Transportation to join our team at our East Windsor, NJ location. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Primary Duties & Responsibilities :
Oversee Transportation Department including its assets and employees. Plan, organize, and supervise the work of subordinate staff to ensure that the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with organizational requirements.
Supervises the Operational aspects of ongoing projects and services as liaison between internal departments.
Supervise Air and Ocean Freight forwarding, transportation, and Supply Chain solutions. Develop relationships with outside carries/brokers
Supervise internal and external customers while working Traffic Staff and dealing with carriers and vendors to ensure inbound/outbound shipments are processed and delivered within Shiseido performance targets.
Analyze data, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance and suggest improvement recommendations. Support $1.7B Sales. Annual transportation $30M
Qualifications & Competencies:
College Degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
3 plus years of progressive responsibility positions of related experience in logistics, or international shipping including document generation, international routing analysis and development.
Experience in a freight forwarder environment is a plus.
Experience accessing and analyzing data to produce and implement improvements is required.
Work effective and collaboratively in a team environment (within the department and across the various brands).
Strong analytical skills: Collect, analyze, and make recommendations using data. Flexible: Able to adapt to change. Excellent Excel and MS office skills are required.
