Procurement, Associate Jobs

The candidate would be part of the Global Center of Excellence Team which is engaged into end to end Procurement and Sourcing of goods and services globally for the organization. Work with the Global Category Manager to develop and execute category strategy for IT, Telecom & Indirect procurement. Manage procurement project independently coordinating with stake holders (Legal, Business and Finance).

This would be an Individual Contributor role based in Hyderabad, Telangana.

Skills necessary to be successful in this role are as given below:

• The Associate Procurement Specialist will support the management of corporate indirect spend within a specific category or regional area(s)
• Understand and be able to support the supplier creation process
• Provide user support for procurement applications
• Review process improvement to add value or create efficiencies (metrics, KPIs)
• Assist Procurement personnel obtaining Monthly Required Reports.
• Assist in the execution of global strategies for short and long range goals
• Contract Administration - Manage existing contracts, dispute resolution, changes, renewal, default
• Learn and apply basic Procurement principles, theories, and concepts.
• Assist Procurement personnel in the resolve outstanding Overages, Shortages, & Damage Reports.
• Proven collaboration and interpersonal skills required to support and participate in cross functional category teams

Soft Skills

• Intermediate knowledge of MS-Excel, MS-Power Point & MS-Word (Advanced skills – desirable).
• Ability to deal with ambiguity.
• Able to work at times in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining accuracy.
• Able to work on multiple assignments
• Out of the box solutions-thinking attitude.
• Good knowledge of Outlook, SharePoint.
• Fluent in English, verbal and written.
• Hands-on/practical approach, self-starter, team player.

Education / Qualifications

Education: Preferred Business Graduates, MBA or Equivalent University Degree.
