Job Details


Provide engineering expertise and support to the Operations team for delivery of products in conformance with customer specification requirements.


Responsibilities of the job include


  • Interact with Operations and assist training of operations team
  • Provide engineering expertise to ensure processes and operations are executed in accordance with drawings and specifications
  • Act as liaison between design engineering and operations, provide feedback from operations and procurement team to the design and product
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing bottlenecks

  • Review Operations BOM, and provide solutions to assist in meeting delivery and shipment targets
  • Prepare, train, and maintain manufacturing processes documentation, Standard Operating Procedures, testing documents as well as quality,


inspection and test documents

Qualifications


  • 4+ years’ work experience in engineering/manufacturing of electrical, power or electromechanical equipment
  • Familiar with AWS welding spec and use of Quality Systems and Product Data Management system
  • Demonstrated clear understanding of mechanical fabrications, welding, assembly and ability to trouble shoot, conduct root cause analysis
  • Proven personal attributes, willing to learn, and develop new knowledge and skills
  • BS in Mechanical Engineering required
  • Experience with electromechanical equipment, PLC and electronics
  • Hands on involvement with product assembly and testing
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Understanding of materials, manufacturing methods, and systems
