Job Description
Hussey Copper has an opening for a Process Engineer at its Eminence, KY location. The Process Engineer, is responsible for developing and implementing process improvement initiatives to reduce waste, improve quality and increase efficiency. This includes leading the development of Lean Manufacturing processes and tools, analyzing current processes to identify areas of improvement, developing and executing process improvement plans.


Responsibilities:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety standards.
  • Monitor process performance metrics to ensure continuous process improvement.
  • Requirements:
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, techniques, and tools (e.g. Kaizen, 5S, etc.)
  • Analyze current processes to identify areas of improvement.
  • Work with other departments to ensure successful implementation of new processes.
  • Develop and execute process improvement plans.
  • Create detailed documentation for all new or modified processes.
  • Develop and implement Lean Manufacturing processes and tools.
