7a-7:30p. Will work at the following Hospice Houses: Venice, Englewood, Port Charlotte and Arcadia

Must provide 64 hours/ month availability, to include 2 week-end days.

Under physicians’ orders and RN supervision, the Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for the observation of patient/ family needs, comfort and supportive care to the patient/ family unit. The LPN uses Nursing interventions and teaching skills as outlined in the Plan of Care and within the scope of practice to maximize patient comfort and enhance quality of life for the patient/ family unit.

Requirements:

• Minimum one year experience in an acute care setting, providing direct patient care; previous experience as a hospice LPN preferred.
• Applicants must be a graduate of an approved nursing program and own a current Florida LPN license.
