Job Description

Aurex Group is currently working with a Tier 1 global Private Equity firm seeking a M&A Analyst to join their Energy & Infrastructure team in Houston.


Candidates must have at least some prior experience within a bank or energy corporate.


Overview:


  • Prior experience in a financial services firm, or investment bank considered a plus
  • Must have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Work with a global team looking at investment opportunities across the natural resources and energy infrastructure value chain
  • Perform financial, valuation, and investment analysis; strong modeling skills are required



Qualifications:


  • Strong financial modeling capabilities
  • Pre-MBA position
  • Bachelor’s degree required;
  • Detail-oriented with <2 years years of experience in private equity, investment banking, strategy/corporate finance, or similar financial services fields within the energy sector
