Our Professional Services team is currently looking for a Privacy Consultant & Privacy Deputy Lead to deliver innovative solutions for our client.


Role Description:

As a Privacy Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that the agency’s data processing activities comply with privacy laws and industry standards. Some of the key responsibilities of a privacy specialist will include:

  • Ensuring that privacy requirements are met.
  • Providing guidance and advice to teams across the organization on privacy issues and how to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations,
  • Developing and implementing organizational policies and procedures related to data privacy and security,
  • Ensuring compliance with privacy policies and procedures,
  • Understanding any new changes in privacy laws and regulations,
  • Developing mitigation strategies for privacy risks,

Requirements:

  • Professional certifications in privacy, such as the Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) certification, are preferred.
  • Resource must be able to be on site 4 days of the week during transition with opportunity to change frequency depending on team need after transition.
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as law, information technology, or cybersecurity, is required.
  • You should also have experience with risk assessments, audits, and incident response protocols.
  • To perform this job successfully, you should have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of privacy laws and regulations.
