The position of Printshop Operator will be filled with a professional of Printing that values the teamwork and it's capable of operating our machines and is eager to learn daily.

Previous experience operating digital large format printers is required

About the position

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled printshop operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various digital printing machines, including cutters, laminators, and routers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for printing, an eye for detail, and the ability to multitask.

Responsibilities:

• Operate digital printing machines, including but not limited to inkjet printers, laser printers, and large format printers
• Follow customer instructions and specifications for printing and finishing orders
• Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and management
• Maintain printing machines, troubleshoot problems, and perform routine maintenance tasks
• Keep the printshop clean and organized, including proper storage of materials and supplies
• Maintain inventory of printing supplies and order new materials as needed
• Operate cutters, laminators, and routers to finish printed products
• Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet customer requirements
• Provide excellent customer service and strive for customer satisfaction
• Use software applications to prepare artwork for printing

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, RIP software, and other graphics software
• At least 2 years of experience in digital printing, with experience operating and maintaining printing machines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
• Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as needed
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Familiarity with printing materials, such as vinyl, paper, and fabric
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in graphic design or related field preferred

• Experience with Large Format Printers or Sheet Fed Digital Printers
• Dynamic Personality to be able to multitask and attain deadlines
• Work Permit & Driver License
• Able to commute daily to FL 33182
• Intermediate English / needed to operate machines
• Team Worker
• Preflight files: Basic-Intermediate Rip Software Knowledge: Onyx/Caldera/ZDD

Plus+ Skills

• Graphics Installations knowledge
• Adobe Illustrator file preparation for printing
• Experience with HP Latex Ploters, Zund or Heidelberg Digital Presses

Salary

$18.00 - $21.00 per hour
