Position Summary

This position will be responsible for directly supporting the Primary Care Inside sales organization, Field Sales Emergency Medical Services/Workplace Health, and customers; by building trusting partnerships with those we support through strategic inventory solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify process improvements and implement ideas, keeping departmental and business unit objectives in mind.
  • Serve as key point of contact and SME for cross functional discussions between Primary Care Sales Teams, Materials Mgmt., PSSP, Sales Admin, Legal, and Manufacturer for intersections that are required for varied projects/initiatives and escalated issues.
  • Create and presents Materials Management processes and data to internal and external key stakeholders.
  • Lead and mentor new employees and peers by providing guidance as subject matter expert
  • Facilitate new business on-boarding by analyzing historical usage to confirm validity and assess financial risk on proposed inventory investment, including readiness reporting and demand comparison reporting.
  • Oversee customer-specific forecast planning and service level performance reporting for complex accounts, ensuring contractual obligations are being met.
  • Partner with PSSP on strategic initiatives related to specific program requirements.
  • Communicates market shortages, allocation strategy, and inventory process changes to Materials Mgmt. Leadership and Primary Care Sales Leadership.
  • Support inventory improvement plans to prepare for pandemic/natural disasters, high profile account initiatives, while considering financial and logistical constraints.
  • Ensure SOPs for key and complex processes are documented appropriately.
  • Optimize service level performance and manage customer-specific inventory planning for the Primary Care market through strategic reporting analysis to include assessment of demand spikes, root cause analysis, and high velocity failure resolution.
  • Responsible for varied projects related to operational changes, process changes, and customer experience enhancements

Minimum Requirements:
  • Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience.

Preferred Requirements:
  • Understanding of demand planning concepts
  • Experience with inventory management systems
  • 5+ years Inventory experience

Specialized Knowledge/Skills:
  • Effective time management and multitasking skills
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel required and basic SQL preferred
  • Experience with forecasting and demand planning concept
  • Working knowledge of multiple platforms/systems such as JDE, JDA, and Salesforce preferred
  • Project Management experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Thorough knowledge of inventory policies, practices, and systems as well as demonstrated leadership skills

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$64,600 - $107,600
