Job Description

Job Title: Publicity & Communications Coordinator

Location: Universal City, CA (Tues/Wed/Thurs in office - must be flexible to in office days w/notice)

Duration: 6 Months

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Proficient at MS Office 365 Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams); Adobe Acrobat and Keynote; and embraces new workplace technology
  • Fluency in English required; comprehension in other languages a plus
  • MAC & PC proficient
  • Must be willing to work from the office in Universal Studios, CA
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, events, communications or related field.
  • Knowledgeable in Adobe Photoshop and/or Canva preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with staffing, logistics and talent and media relations for press events (junkets, TCAs, etc.)
  • Prepare sales market product listings for trade publications and pull relevant artwork to accompany listings
  • Manage the compilation and internal dissemination of daily press clippings
  • Create raves docs for show titles, as needed
  • Manage all Comms magazine subscriptions and renewals
  • Assist in arranging talent travel/transportation/hotel accommodations and creating/updating talent press trip schedules
  • Manage updating/editing the international launch dates calendar
  • Support content publicity requests, when applicable
  • Assist in retrieval of reviews/clippings from broadcaster clients, as needed
  • Assist with gathering pertinent show information for relevant awards submissions
  • Update and maintain distribution lists and contacts lists for press clips, launch dates calendar, client PR support summary, broadcaster PR, talent reps and international media
  • Pull licensee lists for show titles, as needed
  • Update and edit the bi-monthly client PR support summary
  • Support PR team with coordinating meetings and conference calls as needed
