Summary/Objective:


The press brake operator assumes a processing role in the production of finished parts and is responsible for the following regular and repetitive duties.


Preferred Education And Experience


  • Minimum of a high school education.
  • 1+ Year Manufacturing/industry experience.


Essential Functions:

  • Must demonstrate production competency and knowledge of production systems.
  • Must be able to work under physically and mentally stressful situations.
  • Must be able to work independently and under close supervision.
  • Must possess successful problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to read and process written communication including, but not limited to, work orders and measurements
  • Must be able to meet production goals and time deadlines for company projects.
  • Must demonstrate clear verbal and written communication skills (English).
  • Must be able to rotate to other production positions as the need arises or as deemed necessary.
  • Must be able to physically lift and maneuver weights more than fifty pounds.
  • Must be able to work as a part of a team to achieve the company’s overall goals.
  • Must be able to operate appropriate equipment including fabricating machinery, measuring tools, etc.
  • Must be able to prioritize and easily adapt to changes throughout the day.
  • Must be able to exhibit tact and diplomacy and maintain professional relationships with supervisors, fellow team members, customers, etc.

Supervisory Responsibility:


This role does not have any supervisory responsibility upon hiring.


Physical Demands:


The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and climbing all day. The team member must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work


This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are typically Monday through Thursday 5 am - 3:30 pm
