Preschool Teacher Jobs

Our Program: Webster Square Day Care Center is a Program of Pernet Family Health Service, a private non-profit organization. The Program provides comprehensive quality early education and care services to children, ages 2.9-6 years. We believe that the work of the child is play and through play experiences children learn. We are seeking candidates that share our philosophy.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and lead educational activities.

- Maintain appropriate and professional communication with parents and staff.

- Be familiar with Creative Curriculum and Teaching Strategies Gold assessment. Must be familiar with NAEYC accreditation.

- Must be able to work between the hours of 7:30 am and 5:30 pm.

- Possess strong written and verbal skills.

- Attend monthly staff meetings (evening).

Must have good classroom management skills and be able to work as part of a teaching team.

Education and Experience:

- Must hold a minimum of EEC Teacher Certification/Qualifications (Associate Degree or higher preferred)

- Must be CPR and First Aid Certified

- Must have a minimum of 9 months experience working with preschool age children

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• No weekends
