Role Overview
As a Power BI Analyst at our customer facility, you'll play a crucial role in data preparation, maintenance, and visualization using the power of Power BI. You'll have the chance to work on-site for 1-2 days per week, with the flexibility to work remotely for the rest of the week. This way, you can maintain a healthy work-life balance while contributing to impactful projects that make a difference.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient data capture and processing.
Utilize your expertise in Power BI to create visually stunning dashboards that convey insights in an intuitive manner.
Take the lead in data maintenance tasks, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
Leverage your proficiency in SQL Server Analysis Service (SSAS) to work with semantic & tabular data.
Embrace your advanced Excel skills to handle and manipulate large data sets.
Contribute your knowledge of Python and Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) to enhance data analytics.
Minimum Requirements
3+ years of Power BI development experience, showcasing your data visualization expertise.
Proficiency in working with very large data sets using Excel.
Familiarity with SQL Server Analysis Service (SSAS) semantic & tabular data.
Strong command of Python and Data Analysis Expressions (DAX).
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey insights to diverse teams.
Desired Skills
Prior experience in OLAP cube development is a strong plus, and you'll have opportunities to further develop these skills with us.
