Job Description
Dr. Javier Chen's laboratory at the Infection Biology Program of Cleveland Clinic, is seeking self-motivated postdoctoral fellows with a background in Virology to be part of his dynamic team working to understand disease pathogenesis.
Lab Research Topics
• Flavivirus and Alphavirus pathogenesis
• Osteo-Immunology
• Viral-induced Inflammatory diseases
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be a PhD, MD/PhD with experience in molecular/cell biology and experimental animal models. Candidates with demonstrated experience in molecular virology, BSL-3 or Bone biology, Neuroscience or Immunology will be preferred. The successful candidate will work in a NIH-funded laboratory that studies the cellular and molecular pathogenic mechanisms of arboviral disease and inflammatory viral arthritis. Salary will be according to NIH scale and commensurate with experience.
