What you’ll do:

• Manage and track budgets and process purchase orders
• Find new potential freelance collaborators, such as designers, illustrators, animators, etc.
• Negotiate rates with new and existing collaborators
• Coordinate the delivery of raw footage, graphics, music, and other relevant materials to the post-production team.
• Act as the linchpin between our design, animation, and sound teams, a liaison to ensure smooth workflow and prompt delivery of assets.
• Ensure final output of deliverables meets the project’s technical specifications.
• Generate reports on project status, highlighting key milestones and potential risks
• Communicate with clients to provide regular updates, addressing their notes and questions as needed
• Schedule and allocate freelancers as needed
• Oversee and manage post-production processes for multiple projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and scope.
• Anticipate potential challenges in the post-production process and develop solutions to address them.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of project progress, including revisions, feedback, and changes.

Our top candidate:

• Attention to detail and a critical eye for visual and auditory quality.
• Has experience in post-production or project management
• Familiarity with visual effects, color correction, and sound design processes.
• Previous experience in post-production coordination or related roles is a plus.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Must love, or at least have respect, for tacos (we’re big fans)
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
• Familiarity with post-production software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer, etc. (note: we work primarily in the Adobe Creative Suite)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
