Job Description

A global alternative investment firm based in Boston is looking to add a Portfolio Management Associate to the Special Situations team. The Special Situations strategy manages ~$20B AUM and provides cross-capital structured investments, combining credit, equity, corporate, and real estate expertise to provide bespoke capital solutions. The Special Situations Portfolio Group is responsible for fund and asset management and leads the strategy and analysis on fund construction, risk, and opportunities for the Special Situations business. This is an excellent and unique opportunity to join a growing team within a prominent global platform.


The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:


  • Ability to manage several projects at once and work effectively as an individual and as part of multiple teams
  • A fundamental, analytically driven approach to value creation with strong analytical/problem-solving capability and process management skills
  • 3-4+ years of Investment Banking or buyside Portfolio Management experience preferred
