Pool Food Server - Seasonal - Harrah's Gulf Coast

Essential JobFunctions:

• Performscash handling tasks, as required and in accordance with the cash handlingprocedures.
• Meets theattendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental andcompany policies .
• Responsiblefor maintaining cleanliness of guest and work areas, including tables, chairs,counters, display shelves and storage as assigned.
• Preparesfood and beverage orders and delivers them in a timely manner in accordancewith the venues standards.
• Monitorsguests’ needs on a continual basis, ensuring all requests are promptlyfulfilled. Handles and solves any concerns and questions customers may have.
• Performsall side work and stocking of supplies in accordance with venue standards.
• Greetscustomers and takes food and beverage orders in an efficient, courteous andprofessional manner.

Qualifications :

• Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift.
• Must be 18 years ofage.
• Must be willing toparticipate in on-going training in the beverage field.
• Must possess excellent customerservice and communication skills.
• Must adhere to uniform requirements
• Must be able to get along withco-workers and work as a team.
• Previous bartending experience isa plus.
• Must have previous cash handlingand Micros register experience.
• Must be able to initiate andengage in conversation in a professional and friendly manner.
• Must be able to work independently,with little supervision.
• Must have knowledge ofcurrent property events, promotions and attractions.

Physical, Mental& Environmental Demands:

• Must be able to work in excessive heat for extended periods of time

• Must possess the manual dexterity to complete required “side work�?.
• Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and bend, pull and carry stock to refrigerator and cabinets.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must be able to use hand motion when cleaning and wiping counters.
• Must be able to work inside and maneuver throughout assigned station during entire shift.
• Must be able to tolerate areas containing second hand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
