Zignal is looking for a Platform Solutions Intern to work with our team as we provide services and configure solutions for our clients. Many of these customers have engaged us to establish and maintain their Zignal Solution. Day to day, your duties include meeting with customers to gather requirements, explain options, and building and testing queries and dashboards. Our customers span many industries within the Fortune 1000, each with their own unique goals and challenges. This role reports to our Director of Platform Solutions, within the Customer Operations group, and will partner with both pre- and post-sales team members to translate prospects’ and customers’ business goals into platform configurations that separate signal from noise and deliver valuable, real-time insights.

You are a fast learner, flexible, energetic, detail-oriented and driven. You are comfortable with technology and excited to learn new tools.

In this role you will:

• Research terms and keywords applicable to particular brands and industries
• Configure Zignal Enterprise Platform searches, using boolean logic
• Collaborate regularly with Product, Engineering and Support teams to deliver solutions and provide product feedback and problem-solving knowledge
• Take tremendous pride in making every implementation successful and play an active part in our philosophy of continuous improvement
• Participate in discovery calls and meetings to uncover and define customers’ needs
• Update project tracking documents, log your time, and report on progress in team meetings
• Support scoping, documentation, and delivery of client implementations

Required Skills and Qualities

• Knowledge of Boolean logic and text searching
• Logical thinker, with a passion for solving customer challenges
• Progress towards a degree ideally in computer science, a quantitative discipline, or equivalent experience
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
• Highly organized and detail oriented, with excellent time management, prioritization, and poise under pressure
• Curious and passionate about new technologies, particularly media analysis tools
• An agile and conscientious self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
