ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Position Summary
The Plant Utility role provides utility support to the plant.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
  • Complete required quality inspections and paperwork
  • Work with peers and other departments to improve quality and performance
  • Complete required quality inspection paperwork
  • Stage material and supplies needed to run production job
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors
  • Understand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirements
  • Play an active role in the maintenance and cleanliness of the assigned area
  • Assist the Operator in maintaining method to produce product efficiently and effectively
  • Understand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirements
  • Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures
  • Maintain high efficiency according to established rates during operation of the assigned equipment

Essential to this Position
  • The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $20.49. This position is also eligible for shift differential pay ($0.25, $0.35 in additiona to base pay) and benfits package.

  • Ability to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the business
  • Ability to effectively work in teams
  • Safety sensitive position – ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner
