By offering end-to-end solutions, our client is experiencing major company growth and is looking for a Plant Accounting Manager to help oversee this continuous growth!

Plant Accounting Manager Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with plant management and corporate finance team to develop annual operating budgets and long-term financial forecasts. Monitor performance against budget and forecast, providing regular reports and analysis to support decision-making.
  • Provide financial analysis and support to plant management, highlighting key performance indicators, trends, and opportunities. Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity modeling to assess the financial impact of various business decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements. Coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial audits.
  • Develop and maintain financial controls, procedures, and systems to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts. Monitor and control plant expenditures, costs, and variances. Identify areas of improvement and recommend cost-saving measures.
  • Oversee inventory control processes, including accurate valuation, cycle counting, and reconciliation. Analyze inventory levels and trends, ensuring optimal inventory management to minimize carrying costs and maximize working capital.

The Successful Applicant
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations
  • Manufacturing industry experience required
  • Master's degree or CPA designation is a plus
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting and financial management
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial management (ERP) software
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and inventory accounting
