Physicians Assistant Jobs

Position Summary:

Duties include:

• Rounding on hospital patients including writing pertinent progress notes and orders

H&Ps and consults on hospital patients

• Performing H&Ps on new patients
• Participation in registries, performance improvement and quality projects as requested
• OUTPATIENT CLINIC RESPONSIBITIES
• Discharge planning with patient education as to medications, activity and follow-up
• Follow-up and post-procedural evaluation and treatment
• Coordination of needed diagnostic evaluation
• Compliant with all regulatory standards such as TJC, OSHA, CMS, State of TN, etc.
• Dictating letters to referring physicians concerning patient progress
• Patient education concerning conditions, treatment, and expected outcomes

Position Qualification:

Board Certified Physician Assistant with Tennessee State License. Prefer experience in Dermatology.
