Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner - Orthopedic Trauma Outpatient - Kennestone

Wellstar Medical Group is seeking a Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Orthopedic practice in Marietta to work outpatient in our Fracture Liaison Clinic.

This Advanced Practice Provider will help run the orthopedic fracture clinic and will be working in the outpatient Orthopedic surgery clinic doing bone health evaluations, counseling, education, and prescribing treatment for patients at risk for osteoporosis. Patients will be referred to the service from the hospital, urgent care, and PCP offices.The goal of the Fracture Liaison Service is to identify and manage treatment for osteoporosis for patients in the community.

Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with experience in orthopedics, geriatrics, bone and joint preferred, particularly in an outpatient clinic. Ideal candidates for this position should be seeking an outpatient position, enjoy patient education and teaching, have patience and be comfortable spending time with each patient.
