Physical Education Teacher Jobs

The Physical Education teacher instructs students in physical education by performing the following duties:

• Maintain high professional standards, consistent with the mission of St. Margaret Mary Catholic School and the teachings of the Catholic Church
• Create and implement lesson plans, utilizing techniques to motivate, challenge, and engage students
• Plan physical education program to promote physical and social development of the students
• Participate in faculty meetings, school committees, and professional development opportunities
• Interact effectively and respond to all parent communication in a professional and timely manner
• Teach individual and team sports to students, utilizing knowledge of sports skills and physical abilities of students
• Provide active supervision of students at all times

Candidates should possess the following:

• Employment is contingent upon passing background check.
• An appreciation for, and respect for, the Catholic Church and its teachings
• Must conduct themselves in a manner consistent with the mission and purpose of the school and the Catholic Church
• Florida teaching certificate in Physical Education K-12
• 3-5 years teaching experience is preferred.
