Title: Personal Computer Support Technician (REMOTE)


Duration: 5 years

Description

Objective


The contractor will provide full software maintenance and support service installations of new/existing (RPMS) software and patch maintenance for the Client and its affiliated sites. Providing routine monitoring of system backups, error traps, database space allocation, and database integrity, and correction of erroneous pointers and other problems identified in the monitoring process or by the Client IT department.


The contractor will provide all labor and materials to maintain the service agreement.


Should on-site work by contracting staff be necessary, Client will provide during on-site visits, a reasonable work area consisting of a desk, computer terminal, telephone, and office supplies.


Technical Requirements


Telephone Support:


  • The following holidays are observed by the Support Department: New Year's Day, Labor Day, President's Day, Columbus Day, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving Day, The day after Thanksgiving Day, Independence Day, and Christmas Day.
  • Standard telephone response is limited to the hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm E.S.T., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays
  • The contractor support services shall include unlimited telephone support, online support, periodic upgrades and enhancement to Resource Patient Management System.
  • Information and assistance will be available from the Help Desk 8:00AM to 5:00PM.
  • Support calls will be responded to by contracting staff within four hours of each call during normal working hours.
  • The contractor will assist the callers requesting support during a four-hour call-back period or will provide an estimate of the time required to resolve the problem.


Remote Support Requirements


  • Client will provide file system level access such as Remote Desktop (RDP) as well as access to Ensemble at the Administrator level.
  • Client will also provide routine programmer-level access to RPMS for the contracting staff.
  • Secure remote access can be achieved using a remote control application such as Remote Desktop via VPN.


Program Enhancements


  • If the contractor is unable to resolve a problem, the contractor will work with the Client developers/supporters for that application, along with Client IT staff and applications users, to get the problem resolved.
  • Support service includes periodic upgrades and enhancement to RPMS software. These enhancements are based on the release notifications of developers/supporters for Client's clinical applications.
