Providence Medical Group (PMG) is seeking per-diem nurse practitioners to join our Access Strategies team to support patients and clinics throughout Oregon and Southwest Washington. This innovative team of providers is increasing patient access & supporting our in-clinic teams by providing direct patient care (in-person float coverage or virtual visits) and indirect care through desktop support (utilizing email, Teams messaging & Epic In Basket). The Access Strategies team mirrors the medical group's integrated, team-based care model, so you will have a dedicated behavioral health provider, a clinical pharmacist, case management and outstanding operational support. Malpractice liability insurance is provided. For Primary Care clinic on-site support, ideal candidates must have prior experience working in a Primary Care or Urgent Care setting. You must be comfortable seeing patients of all ages for Family Medicine coverage and comfortable with adult and geriatric complex condition management for Internal Medicine coverage. Based on your location and clinic need, shifts could be at any of our 30+ clinics throughout Portland, Vancouver or Seaside. Shifts are available between 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday - Friday. For virtual visits and desktop support, ideal candidates must have prior experience working in-person in a Primary Care clinic or telehealth setting. In Basket includes synchronous and asynchronous communication with patients and providers, so you must work well in a fast-paced digital environment. Opportunity for shifts 7 days a week. Monday - Friday, shifts are available between 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, shifts are 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Additional details and requirements:
- Experience supporting Primary Care In Basket / desktop management required
- Board-certified nurse practitioner with Oregon or Washington medical license required
- Minimum of 2 shifts per-month, with expectations of an additional 1-2 shifts during a surge
- Per-diem (0.0 FTE)
- Proficiency with Epic strongly preferred
- Primary residence in Oregon or Washington required
- 3+ years experience in a Primary Care setting required
