Nurse Professional Development Generalist – Per Diem -RN - Days

Join a tight-knit team of nurse educators led by a dynamic leader, responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating and supporting the educational programs for nursing staff.

Identify the individual and collective learning needs of all nursing staff. Develop and implement course curriculum, incorporating evidence based practice utilizing learning platforms that engage the learners . Actively participate supporting curriculum in the orientation of members of the Nursing staff Promote on going professional development and projects . Actively participate in supporting Nursing orientation program , AHA, and evaluate staff competence .

This is a per diem day shift a position .Varied start and end times

Required Criteria

Qualified candidates have cardiac critical care experience ; a Master’s degree in Nursing, current NYS RN licensure, and CCRN certification ;teaching experience. ACLS and BCLS certifications are required.

Preferred criteria :

Master’s Degree in Nursing Education; certification in Nursing Professional Development

Strong experience in Medical/ Surgical Nursing .

Oncology experience preferred
