Job Title: Pediatric ER Registered Nurse inTulsa,Oklahoma

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Emergency Room Nurse with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Pediatric or ER w/ Pediatric patient population. The ideal candidate must have recent EPIC experience, strong pediatric assessment skills, IV, and lab draw skills. The candidate must also have PALS and BLS (AHA) certifications.
The Pediatric ER is a 23-bed department that receives patients with minor to high-level acuity, with an age range of newborn to 17 years old. The department is open 24/7 and has an average daily patient flow of 65 patients. Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment, and be able to care for COVID patients.
This is a safety-sensitive job under the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Use and Patient Protection Act (OMMA), which allows employers to lawfully refuse to hire applicants for safety-sensitive jobs or to discipline or discharge employees who work in safety-sensitive jobs if they test positive for marijuana, even if they have a valid license to use medical marijuana.
Our 1000 bed facility also houses a 55-bed adult ER receiving Level I trauma patients. Candidates must take and pass Basic Dysrhythmia and general medication tests on the first day of work.
