• Worksite Location: Remote (must live in Minnesota)
• Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
• Compensation: $21.00-$25.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience

What a Payroll Specialist will do:

• Prepare reports for upper management, finance department etc.
• Administer statements of payment to personnel either electronically or on paper
• Gather information on hours worked for each employee
• Prepare and execute pay orders through an electronic system or distribute paychecks
• Prepare quarterly payroll and tax reports
• Address issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and superiors
• Communicate directly with clients on various payroll issues
• Process taxes and payment of employee benefits
• Calculate the correct amount incorporating overtime, deductions, bonuses, etc. with the assistance of a computer system
• Keep track of hour rates, wages, compensation benefit rates, new hire information, etc.

What you’ll bring to the role as the Payroll Specialist:

• Full payroll processing is required (not just uploading into ADP or a similar system)
• 3-5+ years of experience in processing payrolls, quarterly payroll tax reports, year-ending tax reports, and more complex payrolls
