Hourly Pay: $17-21
Location: Louisville, KY
Schedule: Monday -Friday (8am -5pm)
Summary
- Entering and maintaining all payroll-related information, for a variety of employee types.
- Responsible for all aspects of payroll processes, including issuing manual checks, handling garnishments and child support orders, etc.
- Provides support to the payroll department and ensures the timely and accurate processing of payroll records by compiling, organizing, and entering data into the payroll system.
Essential Responsibilities
- Processing payroll for 30,000 employees within the company(mostly home health and hospice).
- Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
- Ensure payroll integrity through audit reports, data analysis and collaboration with other team members.
- Excel is nice to have, but not required.
- Enters employee maintenance, runs payroll process, prepares reports, calculates manual checks, issues stop payments.
- Researches and resolves payroll problems and discrepancies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Gathers, analyzes, and summarizes financial information.
- High level of customer service is required for this role.
- Maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
- Stay current with system updates and changes.
Position Requirements
- 1-3 years of payroll or data entry experience preferred.
- Flexibility with working hours near payroll deadlines to include nights and weekends required.
- GED or High School Diploma required
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel required.
- Strong analytical, customer service, and organizational skills required.
- Associates degree or Technical Training preferred.
- Experience using a payroll software system(preferred ADP)
