Responsibilities:

  • Process weekly (union), and biweekly payrolls accurately and by established deadlines based on their assigned groups.
  • All earning statements and/or checks are distributed to all locations on schedule
  • Resolve all payroll related problems professionally and accurately
  • All appropriate output reports, reconciliations, and data needed by other departments are issued promptly and accurately
  • Participate in special projects as assigned.
  • Review and follow-up with managers to review/input/correct missed time punches and schedule changes in Webtime
  • Bonus and commission payments
  • Ensure all assigned payrolls are successfully processed
  • Ensure all paperwork is received and completed accurately and on time to process payroll
  • All appropriate data is input into Paycom accurately in a timely manner
  • Prepare data for all payrolls to include: time off requests (vacation, sick, leave, etc.)

Qualifications:

  • Proficient with Paycom & Webtime
  • Experience in handling multi-company environment and union payroll is desired but not required
  • The ideal candidate would be a talented professional with multi pay period payroll experience and proven payroll systems knowledge who can manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and work well in a fast paced environment.
  • A minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in payroll processing
  • Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Google, Word, etc.)
  • Associates Degree preferred
  • Knowledge of Federal, State, and local employment and wage and hour laws

  • Ability to proactively identify and develop effective solutions
  • The ability to work effectively with the all levels of the organization is essential
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work with employees at all levels
  • Detail oriented with strong problem solving/analytical skills
  • High degree of discretion in dealing with confidential information is a must
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
