Who Are We Looking For


Nike's North American Payroll team is looking for an Americas Country Payroll Analyst! In this role, you will contribute to day-to-day payroll operations for our employees in Canada by supporting the regional leaders as well as HR, Finance, Tax, and Legal teams in the effort to assess the performance of regionalized countries and support the execution of international pay using our global pay solutions!


WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?


You will contribute to our mission by participating in the monitoring of our global pay solution, vendor performance, as well as cross-functional team impacts on the payroll process through metrics gathering and support the drive for improvement through business process or technical solutions. You will be responsible for assembling period-end data deliverables to territory controllers for approval by the Americas Payroll Tax and Accounting Manager.


You will support the Americas Payroll Tax and Accounting Manager in all functions that ensure data integrity through analytics and reporting, system integration, completeness, accuracy of tax, accounting entries, and compliance requirements using operational controls as guidance. You will participate in team responses to audit requests from internal and external audit teams.


Who Will You Work With


Your foundation in Canadian payroll concepts, HR, payroll systems, data analysis, and metrics gathering along with your ability to work closely with cross-functional teams including HR functions, Finance, and Tax teams to support reconciliation, completeness, and compliance across the region is key to successful execution of this role.


What You Bring


  • Sophisticated Excel, PowerPoint, HRIS, and Payroll Software experience
  • At least 2-4 years' direct payroll operations and payroll tax-related experience in Canada
  • Two additional years of experience in lieu of a degree
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field


Preferred:


  • Canada payroll certification is a plus
  • Payroll experience working with a company that has 10,000 + employees
  • ADP GlobalView and TimeTrack experience
