Job Description
We are a well-established medical aesthetics practice in North San Diego County. With two locations in Carlsbad and Rancho Bernardo, and now entering the San Juan Capistrano market. Dermacare offers a range of professional skincare and minimally invasive cosmetic treatments, including Botox®, dermal fillers, laser skin rejuvenation, body shaping, and more.

We are looking for a Patient Services Manager who will play a vital role in launching our new San Juan Capistrano location and developing a new team of providers and support staff. The ideal candidate has prior knowledge and experience in the aesthetics field, management experience, and a general understanding of healthcare safety protocols, among other characteristics. This person is a ‘people person’ who is tenacious and can hold a room on their own. He or She will be able to prioritize daily tasks, solve patient satisfaction issues, work with the marketing team on new initiatives to bring them to fruition and work diligently to help bring our practice to the next level.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
-Promotes the brand philosophy, mission, and vision of Dermacare to employees, patients, market, and other contacts as assigned.
-Expand and grow the customer base by creatively finding new ways to ensure a one-of-a-kind patient experience with knowledgeable, caring, and passionate staff.
-Strong focus on operational and clinical excellence with high-quality outcomes and standards.
-Plan, develop, implement, and direct the day-to-day functions of the practice, and it programs for compliance, efficiency, and patient satisfaction.
-Will monitor and develop the Key Performance Indicators and goals for their location.
-Interpret policies/procedures for employees and their location.
-Order and maintain the appropriate supplies to ensure optimal performance and consistent aesthetic applications.
-Motivate and organize daily functions, schedule staff accordingly, and promotes high-quality services both operational and financially to the organization.
-Manage staff performance, including supervising, coaching/counseling clinical staff daily, interviewing, and training new hires.
-Work with providers and staff to ensure schedules are maximized for efficiency and productivity daily.
COMPETENCIES:
-Minimum three years of experience
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-Lead and manage direct reports
-Works independently with minimal supervision
-Practical knowledge and experience in working with practice management software systems with the ability to direct workflow operations
-Experience in budgetary preparation with regard to practice management and operations
-Maintains effective relationships and open communications with patients, families, management, and staff
-Basic computer proficiency
