Position Overview
The Patient Recruiter is responsible for recruiting new volunteers via telephone and guiding them through the study-specific criteria - conducting phone screenings (outgoing and incoming) with potential study subjects.
What You'll Be Working On
Duties include but not limited to:
  • Serves as a liaison between patients and remote CRCs and local CRC’s.
  • Complete screening visits remotely for specific studies
  • Update StudyTeam/CRIO often and complete
  • Schedule study visits with subjects and make reminder calls.
  • Review and comprehend active study protocols.
  • Maintain subject screening logs.
  • Utilize multiple platforms for managing patient data and scheduling.
  • Recruit study patients by calling subjects from the database and potential volunteers that have contacted Care Access (phone, email, post, etc.) and document contact accordingly.
  • Conduct an informative discussion with the patient.
  • Educate patients about research, indications, and what to expect during study visits.
Physical and Travel Requirements
  • This is a remote position with less than 10% travel requirements. Occasional planned travel may be required as part of the role.

What You Bring
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Knowledge and ability to apply ICH Good Clinical Practice and applicable regulatory guidelines.
  • Team Collaboration Skills: Work effectively and collaboratively with other team members to accomplish mutual goals. Bring a positive and supportive attitude to achieving these goals.
  • Excellent working knowledge of medical and research terminology
  • Ability to adapt and be flexible to changing priorities while maintaining excellent customer service.
  • Friendly, outgoing personality with the ability to maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
  • High level of self-motivation and energy
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Comfortable working with data and technology
Certifications/Licenses, Education, and Experience:
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in patient recruitment
  • A minimum of 1 year of Clinical Research experience
