Job Description
Join the Coram/CVS Health team as an Electronic Referral Coordinator and you will support the Center of Excellence department by creating patient profiles for new referrals from various healthcare providers throughout the nation. Must have excellent writing and computer skills in order to ensure accurate data is being entered into Coram’s national database.
As an Electronic Referral Coordinator , you will…
  • Scan and upload documents from insurance providers into electronic records system and notify appropriate departments .
  • Respond to electronic referrals by creating Patient Intake Form within a short deadline
  • Work with the branch Admissions team to gather documentation for new patient processing.
  • Verify information on incoming documents for accuracy and completeness.

This is a full-time, permanent, benefited position and is NOT through an agency. Typical work hours for this role are Monday – Friday, 6:30am- 8:00 pm CST with rotating weekend coverage and OT available based on business needs.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 17.00
Maximum: 27.90
Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.
Required Qualifications
  • Attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Data entry experience – typing speed of 45+wpm
  • Minimum year of experience working in a healthcare environment
  • Minimum year experience working in a customer service or call center environment.
  • Experience working in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Third Party Vendors

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience with medical billing procedures
  • Experience working with healthcare insurance verification
  • Experience working in Epic electronic health records system.

Education
Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required
