Patient Care Assistant (Pca)

We are offering a great opportunity to receive training as a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) that will prepare you to take the state Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) License Exam. You will receive classroom and hands on training while helping our residents and caregivers. As a PCA you will have 120 days to train, take, and pass the CNA exam. Ridge Haven Health and Rehabilitation is a 120-bed Skilled Nursing Facility located in New Port Richey, FL. As a PCA you will provide care to our residents to include but not limited to:

• Complete admission inventory of clothing and belongings
• Monitor and replenish resident care articles
• Answer call lights and aid our residents and caregivers
• Distribute laundry
• Clean resident’s personal care and grooming items
• Label clothing and belongings
• Make unoccupied beds
• Maintain residents’ closets, bedside stands, drawers, and closets in a clean, orderly and odor free manner
• Other duties as assigned
• Clean resident equipment
