Location: US:WI:MILWAUKEE at our FROEDTERT HOSPITAL facility.

This job is HYBRID (Position will be hybrid (in clinic and remote) to start. Training will be in clinic. Will transition to fully remote in July.)

FTE: 0.800000

Shift: 1 (M-F 8-430. Hours / days will be determined with fully remote schedule. Requires 32hrs per week.)

Job Summary:


The Patient Access Service Representative (PASR), follows the Froedtert and the Medical College Performance Excellence Customer Service Standards. Greets and arrives patients. Verifies and updates demographic information. Collects monies for copays, supplies, and services rendered. Balances daily cash collections. Obtains patient signatures. Assists patients with ancillary appointment scheduling and forms. Schedules, cancels, and reschedules patient appointments. Answers and directs telephone calls.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

Previous experience in a healthcare setting. One year of experience as a receptionist/assistant or work in a customer service field.

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:

High School diploma or equivalent is required.

SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:

Effective communication skills, oral and written required. Ability to multi-task. Strong proactive organizational skills a must. Must have excellent customer service skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Word. Knowledge of medical terminology and EpicCare is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is preferred.
