Part-Time Sales And Operations Associate

We are seeking a part-time Sales and Operations Associate for our Austin location. This is a unique opportunity to join a rapidly growing luxury jewelry startup. Ada Diamonds, based in San Francisco, is an online custom fine jeweler and the leading luxury retailer of lab diamonds. Our unique online Concierge model combines the ease, transparency, and flexibility of an online retailer with the high-touch, client-focused model of a private jeweler.

As the Sales and Operations Associate, you will assist Ada’s sales and production cycle including, but not limited to:

• Supporting on-hand media requests
• Shipping loose diamonds & finished jewelry
• Answering phones and greeting customers at the front desk
• Handling pickups and drop-offs with clients
• Cleaning and organizing of all display jewelry
• Running errands based on the needs of the team
• Inspecting, videoing, and/or photographing diamonds & jewelry
• Preparing and maintaining that the showrooms are always client-ready
• Organizing and managing inventory
• Supporting office and administrative needs
• Prepping for the sales teams appointments

Required Qualifications:

• Highly proficient with Gmail and Google Apps
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to quickly learn new tools, technologies, and workflows
• Texas resident
• Some college or Bachelor’s Degree required
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects at once

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with database technologies such as Excel, Salesforce,
• No jewelry background is required, but luxury operations or sales experience is preferred
• Experience with communication technologies such as Slack
• Basic photography experience

Logistics & Compensation:

• Competitive compensation
• This role requires in-person hands-on time with shipments, diamonds, and jewelry and is not a work-from-home role
• Subject to successful completion of a criminal background check
• Minimal travel is required
• Based out of Ada’s Austin location
• Part-time role
• Hours - Tuesday to Saturday (Tuesday - Friday hours are flexible, the ideal candidate can work afternoons, 12 pm - 5 pm or 6 pm. Saturday hours 9 am - 4 pm)
• Internship credit available
