Schedule Type: Part Time, No Benefits (less than 20 hrs per week)

Job Summary/Basic Functions

The Eastern Kentucky University Department of Mathematics and Statistics is accepting applications for part-time faculty to teach undergraduate courses in our program. Instructor will teach classes at either the Richmond campus or any one of the regional campuses, to a maximum of 9 credit hours per semester, on an as-needed basis. Master's Degree is required in Mathematics or a related field, with at least 18 hours in graduate level Mathematics. Degree(s) must be from a regionally (SACS, Middle States, North Central, etc.) accredited and recognized institution. Candidate is expected to demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills with undergraduate students and the university community.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's Degree is required in Mathematics or a related field, with at least 18 hours in graduate level Mathematics. Degree(s) must be from a regionally (SACS, Middle States, North Central, etc.) accredited and recognized institution.

Sponsorship: Visa sponsorship will be considered on a case-by-case basis, depending upon the needs of the unit, available sponsorship budget, and the qualifications of the candidate.
