Job Description
Overview:
Our client, a full service electronic security and communications provider in Armonk, NY, is seeking a bookkeeper to join their team. Position will be part time (3 days per week) and in person.

Candidate must be good with details, have excellent time management skills and work well with others. Prior experience with SAGE 50 is preferred. Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word. Must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
Essential Duties:
  • Accounts receivable
  • Handle company credit card receipts
  • Year-end information tax reporting (Forms 1099)
  • Accounts payable
  • Process payroll, payroll taxes and payroll tax filings
  • Project Management
  • Monthly bank account reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly financial statements
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows environment, including Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with SAGE 50
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in general bookkeeping functions and payroll
