Job Description
West Seneca. Rosina Food Products. Parts Inventory Clerk.


Summary Responsible for supporting the accuracy of the Parts Inventory which includes shipping, receiving and cycle counts. In addition, help service the Maintenance Department when parts are needed.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Receive, identify, verify, and post into the inventory system. 2. Verifies delivery receipts against purchase orders and place items on the rack / shelving according to the location entered into the system. 3. Issue materials, supplies, parts and / or possibly equipment to the Maintenance Associates. 4. Enter inventory data into computer as needed; maintains inventory control and parts distribution. 5. Conducts cycle counts as required. 6. Must show urgency during a production break-down to help find the parts needed for the maintenance department. 7. Must be knowledgeable of and perform all duties in compliance with existing USDA, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), State, Federal, and company regulations, policies and procedures including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) and safety regulations, including using all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). 8. Maintain a safe, clean and neat work area. 9. Maintains a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with coworkers, supervisors, customers and vendors. 10. Works as a team player, helping to meet departmental and company goals and objectives. 11. Responsible for maintaining food safety. 12. Perform other related duties and assignments as required.


Qualifications : * Previous working in a Parts/inventory department, preferably in a manufacturing environment. * Experience using a inventory management system * Must be able to work weekends when required by Supervisor. * Must have a Valid NYS driver's license; in order to commute between facilities. * Previous Forklift experience * Basic Math experience * Able to read, understand and speak English * Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and color vision. The noise level in the environment is usually loud.

While performing the duties of this job, the Associate is maybe exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts. The Associate may be exposed to extreme heat. The Associate is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places.
