Parts Counter/Driver Jobs

Summary

Orem Mazda seeks a Parts Front Counter/Driver to join our growing team. The schedule would be 9-5 Monday through Friday and, once fully trained, every third Saturday. It is a Saturday rotation where you get a weekday off. Experience preferred but optional. Will be trained on all tasks.

Pay will vary depending on experience. You can begin hourly, but once trained and experienced, salary/commission pay can be discussed.

Responsibilities

• Offer friendly, efficient assistance in selecting required parts and informing customers about companion parts and specials.
• Address phone inquiries, providing price quotes and information.
• Maintain records, cleanliness, and functionality of the parts area while staying updated on products and engaging in professional development.
• Organize and track orders for delivery to body shops.
• Manage stock by pulling and filling orders and addressing out-of-stock parts.
• Monitor back-ordered parts and manage will-call and back-order files.
• Review and align body shop estimates with ordered parts and pricing.
• Maintain exceptional service for internal and external customers.
• Perform over-the-counter and phone sales of parts to diverse customers.
• Coordinate with service advisors and customers regarding uniquely ordered parts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• The ability to pass a drug test and background check.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 80 pounds to move parts around, load delivery van, and put stock orders away.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• No prior experience or training.
• One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
