Sonsray Fleet Services is seeking a Parts Counter Representative to join our Thermo King dealership in Vernon, CA.

Essential Job And Responsibilities

• Maintain parts department general housekeeping
• Follow all Auto and Equipment Safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments
• Record sales and/or delivery information
• Regularly be engaged away from the employer's place or places of business and making deliveries to the existing customer’s and/or prospective client’s location
• Load and unload pallets
• Stock shelves and maintain parts inventory
• Provide parts service to mechanics and parts customers
• Comply with all road signs and operate vehicles within their limits and weather environment
• Performs other functions or duties as directed by management in line with the objectives of the dealership
• Receive and fill parts orders
• Counter Parts sales and parts delivery to the customer's location
• Receive and stage units for installation
• Physical Inventory
• Answer incoming telephone calls
• Package and ship parts and cores

Qualifications

• Must be able to walk, use hands, fingers, bend, carry, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Great customer service skills are required
• Inventory knowledge is a plus
• Ability to multi-task and work quickly and accurately
• Bilingual Spanish is highly desired but not required
• Great written and verbal communication skills
• 2+ years of parts counter sales experience is necessary to be considered
• Refrigeration, Trailer, Truck, Automotive, or Construction Parts industry experience is highly preferred
• Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and internet functions
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Team player with a great customer service focus
• Must be over 21 years of age, possess and maintain a current and acceptable, valid "C" Driver's License to drive for the company

Compensation: $20.00 - $23.00 an hour
