Part Time Showrom Assitant

MUST CURRENTLY LIVE IN Commutable Distance to Farmingdale, NY

4-5 hour shifts Tu. - Fri. and must work 1 Sat. shift per month

$15-$17 per hour

Position Summary: The Showroom Associate provides a high level of service to LX Hausys customers and staff as an integral team member who supports daily business. As the first point of contact for all LX Hausys customers, the Showroom Associate ensures customer satisfaction by greeting clients, providing product knowledge, maintaining the Showroom, and completing both administrative and event management related tasks. This individual plays a central role in servicing the Long Island market and providing lead generation and project information for the sales team

Showroom Hours – 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, Tuesday to Saturday (Sunday Closed) Monday ONLY – 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm

Hourly, Part Time Employee – 4-5 hour shifts and must work 1 Saturday shift per month

Responsibilities:

· Provide high level customer service for walk-in clients and client appointments, assisting them with product knowledge and tour of facility.

· Field incoming calls from potential clients and coordinate appointments to view material.

· Liaison between lead and sales team to ensure appropriate follow up.

· Handle sample requests and accurately enter lead data into CRM.

· Event Coordination- Assist with outreach to local trade industry groups to identify opportunities for collaborations and events. Work with TM/RSS to plan and execute events on a monthly basis.

· Administer all day-to-day operations of the showroom including but not limited to maintaining a clean, organized environment and updating marketing displays and literature as needed.

· Ability to work retail hours including some nights and weekends as required.

Qualifications:

Education and Work Experience:

· 1-2 years working in a retail, office, or showroom environment

· High School Diploma or equivalent required

Knowledge and Skills:

· Strong Social Skills and Professionalism: Be articulate, creative, energetic, disciplined, and flexible while communicating with clients directly and representing the LX Hausys Brand.

· Positive customer service attitude with problem-solving skills.

· Self-motivation/Initiative: Ability to take ownership of projects and present new ideas based upon showroom needs.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Job and Physical Demands:

· Position requires sitting at a desk working on a computer for at least 2/3 of time.

· Position requires minimal lifting up to 45 pounds.

· Position requires regular and reliable attendance.
